UHV / PRECISION CLEANING
Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) cleaning is a specialized multi-stage decontamination process critical for semiconductor, aerospace, and high-energy physics applications.
Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) cleaning is a specialized multi-stage decontamination process critical for semiconductor, aerospace, and high-energy physics applications. The primary goal is to remove all organic residues, oils, fingerprints, and particles that could cause outgassing or contamination in a vacuum environment. Our process at AGS starts with pre-cleaning, followed by high-intensity ultrasonic baths using specialized detergents and deionized (DI) water. Parts undergo multiple rinse cycles to ensure zero chemical carryover. We perform strict blacklight inspections and waterbreak-free tests to verify surface purity. Following cleaning, components are baked in controlled ovens to drive off moisture and residual volatile compounds. The final stage involves double-bagging and vacuum-sealing in an ISO Class cleanroom. This ensures the hardware arrives at the customer’s site ready for immediate installation into UHV systems without the risk of contaminating sensitive processes.
